Winnipeg Dry Cleaners Give Back

On Sept. 29th, 2011 Dollar Wise Quality Cleaners CEO Shane Johnston slept outside for the CEO Sleepout "Change for the Better" program. It was a fundraising event to spread awarenss and raise funds to help homelessness in Winnipeg.

Dollar Wise Quality Cleaners places a great emphasis on giving back to our community. This year we sponsored the Bowl for Kids Sake. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg were able to raise over $35,500 from this years fundraiser! All monies from the event go specifically to support their Mentoring programs that are designed for Winnipeg boys and girls. Here is a picture of the enthusiasm of our Pembina staff.

In May of 2008, we contributed to the silent auction for the  Kildonan East Collegiate's Tanzania 2010 project. Proceeds are going to their goal to help provide clean drinking water and supporting HIV and literacy projects in Tanania. To learn more about the project and view the thank you letter click here.
